About the role
You’ll design and build the APIs, background jobs and integrations behind our clients’ products — payments, notifications, reporting and more. You think about data models, failure modes and observability before you write the first endpoint.
What you’ll do.
- Design and build REST and GraphQL APIs in Node.js and TypeScript
- Model data in PostgreSQL and keep queries fast as products grow
- Integrate third-party services — payments, messaging, identity
- Write tests, add tracing and metrics, and own what you ship in production
- Contribute to architecture decisions and technical documentation
What you’ll bring.
- 3+ years building backend services in production
- Strong Node.js and TypeScript; solid SQL and PostgreSQL
- Understanding of auth, security basics and API design
- Experience with queues, caching and background processing
