Case study · Product Strategy
From discovery workshop to funded MVP: a QR ordering platform for restaurants and cafés.

01The challenge
TableTap’s founders had an idea — let diners order and pay from their table with a QR code — but no validated business model, no product and only enough runway for one serious attempt before raising money.
02Our solution
We ran a two-week discovery sprint with restaurant owners and diners, defined the business model and pricing, and prototyped the experience. Then we built a lean, scalable MVP that went live in eight weeks and became the centrepiece of a successful seed round.
03Key features
Menus, modifiers and ordering — no app download required.
Diners split bills and pay instantly by card or wallet.
Live orders, menu editing and daily sales in one place.
Orders routed straight to kitchen and bar printers.

Softysta helped us decide what not to build — which is why we launched in eight weeks. Their prototype and data were the backbone of our seed pitch.
